K.J. Mackenzie (Garve) Ltd groundworks contractors was formed by Kevin & Katrina Mackenzie in 2017 after they left G.G. Mackenzie, where Kevin had worked since leaving school operating plant and running the day to day side of operations with Katrina working for nearly 12 years on the administration side.

Kevin has worked on a large range of civil engineering projects during his near 40 years in the industry including hydro schemes, wind farms and other infrastructure works but is equally as experienced in working on small scale groundworks for private customers. Every job is carried out with the same attention to detail regardless of size with complete customer satisfaction being our main aim.

As well as the general company administration, Katrina ensures all the documentation is in place to comply with the legislation for individual contracts and will tailor it to the client’s specific additional requirements where necessary.

We believe that Kevin’s experience on site backed up by Katrina’s experience in administration allows us to provide clients with a high quality groundworks contractor services regardless of the size and nature of the contract.
